The Company

The Grocers’ Company can be traced back to the Pepperers who were active in London from at least 1180. Congratulations JDRF Research

JDRF, a past recipient of the Grocers’ annual fundraiser, won a 2024 Charity Award in the Healthcare and Medical Research category. JDRF’s funded research has resulted in a cutting-edge technological breakthrough for treating type 1 diabetes, expected to transform the lives of millions of children and adults across the globe. The artificial pancreas hybrid closed loop system represents the most significant breakthrough in type 1 diabetes treatment since the discovery of insulin a century ago.
